After leaving the military as a Radio Sergeant / Signal instructor, Steven Arthur (Steve) continued his interest in communications and retrained as a telecommunications engineer, Joining Comtel cable shortly after.
At this time the cable TV industry was growing very quickly. With the larger companies buying out the smaller ones, and client contracts changing hands, the employees found themselves working for a new company just as quick. This gave Steve a great opportunity to work for various companies and carry out a variety of roles which included field operations, civils, management positions, quality assurance, health & safety, and training. The additional bonus of this was that it gave Steve the chance to gain qualifications, experience, and expertise along the way.
Steve brings his vast knowledge of telecoms processes and procedures into the classroom in a good-natured and approachable manner. He has great experience in adult learning and endeavour’s to make his training educational, enjoyable and available to all no matter their educational level.
